We know that we can not use IGF all alone. To get better benefits from any Growth Hormone precursor you need GHRH’s and GHRP’s. When these compounds combine with peptide-like IGF the effects are doubled. They amplify the natural pulse of growth hormone in your body when you stack them in your peptide stack. This combination will stimulate the production of growth hormones and maximize fat loss, muscle gain, recovery and other benefits of using peptide.

Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide belongs to the drug category known as GH secretagogues that stimulate the pituitary gland to release growth hormone naturally. GHRP’s are specifically synthesized oligopeptides. The most commonly used GHRP’s are ipamorelin, hexarelin, GHRP-6, and GHRP-2.

The common benefits of all the four GHRP’s are,

  • Increased production of collagen
  • Decreased body fat
  • Increased restorative sleep
  • Increased lean mass
  • Increased cellular repair

GHRP-6 is one of the first and most effective synthesized growth hormone-releasing peptides. Some people claim that GHRP-2 gives superior results. But the choice is up to you and solely depends on the results you are looking for.

If you are trying to gain muscle and lean mass or struggling to eat food to meet the calorie intake or anabolic, your best choice is GHRP-6. GHRP-6 will increase your hunger level. On the other hand, if you are aiming for calorie restriction and rapid fat loss, GHRP-2 serves to be effective in desensitization when compared to GHRP-6. GHRP-2 causes less appetite stimulation and is beneficial if you want to keep yourself lean and keep your eating in check. Both GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 cause fluctuations in the body’s natural hormone production like prolactin and cortisol. These are the major side effects when the dosage increases.

Ipamorelin(IPA) is another synthetic peptide used for growth hormone release. This is the safest hormone to be used as it has no effects on appetite, prolactin or cortisol and you can use this in a higher dosage than GHRP-2 and GHRP-6.

And finally, Hexarelin is the most important of the GHRP’s which is used along with IGF to boost the GH release. You cannot use it for the long term as it has a high desensitization rate. If you are trying a short cycle of GHRP ‘s and peptides you can try Hexarelin, but it is safe to avoid it in the long run.

When used in excessive frequencies or excessive quantities or being stacked incorrectly with other peptides you may experience a few common side effects like excessive sleepiness, water retention, carpal tunnel-like symptom in the hand or wrist, decrease in insulin sensitivity and extreme numbness or tingling sensation.

This is the reason why GHRP-6 should be taken on an empty stomach, you should not consume any food 15 – 20 minutes before the injection if you are aiming for maximum GH release. You can take a dosage of 100 – 150 mcg per injection in a dosing frequency of 1 – 4 times per day. To obtain maximum GH release you should combine GHRP-6 along with GHRH.

Eventually, to get maximum effects of IGF, it should be combined with a GHRP, research reveals that GHRP Ipamorelin is the safest and efficacious peptide among GHRP’s. Its main function is to stimulate the pituitary gland and produce more growth hormones. Ipamorelin has a two-fold mechanism, it can amplify the natural growth hormone release and increase GH production in the body, in the same way, suppress the activity is somatostatin, which lowers the growth hormone during sleep.

When compared with Ipamorelin, GHRP-6 has a wide range of undesirable effects apart from growth hormone release, the major side effects are intense hunger, a mild effect on prolactin and cortisol, gastric motility, etc. On the other hand, GHRP-2 has fewer effects and an intense GH release. The side effects are also comparatively less gastric motility and less hunger. Hexarelin provides high GH pulse but causes mild gastric motility and has no effect in hunger. However many cycles are required to avoid desensitization effect.

Ipamorelin is the safest of all. Sure it does not release much growth hormone but has no side effects on hunger or gastric motility, also it does not affect the prolactin and cortisol hormones. Hence Ipamorelin seems to be a safe choice among all GHRP‘s.
